The Hunt!

My first variety! This was quite the project. I learned so much about cryptics and varieties from two wonderful setters and collaborators - juff and Skald. They are both far more experienced and skilled cryptic writers who tend to specialize in some shennanigans. I encourage you to check out their blogs. Just click their names. Thanks to VraieAmy and Steve Mossberg for the test solves. The first version is meant for those part of our Twitch streaming community, as there are some inside jokes. Happy American Thanksgiving everyone! A time not only for delicious food, but for giving thanks for all that we have. Trick or Treat!

A second variety puzzle! I know, I'm shocked too. But, it's Halloween and shenanigans are called for. This is also my first attempt at a barred grid. It was a lot of work. I genuinely admire those who do this regularly. A very special thanks to juff for not only test solving, but guiding me with gridding and cluing. I could not have done this without them.
